LG Electronics has kicked off production of its 2026 television portfolio, rolling out updates across OLED, LCD and wireless TV categories. The refreshed range spans OLED evo models, the new Micro RGB evo series, and a wireless OLED television.
OLED evo line-up: G6, C6 and B6
The OLED evo family is made up of the G6, C6 and B6 series. LG positions these sets around higher brightness, more accurate colour reproduction, stronger contrast and faster response times. The company says the panels use Hyper Radiant Color technology, delivering brightness up to 3.9 times higher than standard OLED televisions, with the B6 used as the reference model.
Across the range, LG fits the alpha 11 AI 4K Gen3 processor, which it claims provides 5.6 times greater AI performance. Key features include AI Dual 4K Upscaling to enhance lower-resolution content, plus Hyper Bright Booster that adjusts brightness scene by scene. The Reflection Free Premium display reduces glare by eliminating light rather than dispersing it, and is certified by Intertek. Core OLED attributes remain in place, including near-infinite contrast and rapid response.
webOS 26: Copilot, Gemini and LG’s AI tools
The televisions run webOS 26. The platform brings in Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini for search and interaction. The feature set includes AI Concierge for recommendations, AI Search for contextual results, an AI chatbot, and AI Picture and Sound Wizard for automatic tuning. Voice ID enables user-based personalisation of content, while LG Shield provides system-level security. LG Gallery+ also adds AI-generated images and background audio.
Wireless OLED evo W6, Micro RGB evo, sizes, pricing and release date
OLED evo W6 is LG’s wireless model, built with an ultra-slim body measuring about 9 mm thick. Wireless AV transmission is handled via the Zero Connect Box. It supports 4K resolution at 165 Hz, with low latency and lossless signal delivery. LG notes the Zero Connect Box is 35% smaller than earlier versions.
The Micro RGB evo series represents LG’s new direction for premium LCD televisions. In this approach, the usual white LED backlight is replaced with RGB LEDs, and the smaller light elements are intended to improve precision. The series uses the alpha 11 AI 4K Gen3 processor with a dual AI engine, and it also applies backlight control methods derived from OLED technology. LG states it delivers 100% colour reproduction across the BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB ranges.
OLED evo models will be offered in screen sizes from 42 to 97 inches. Pricing for the G6 ranges from 3 059 700 won (2 027 US dollars) for the 55-inch model up to 37 900 000 won (25 110 US dollars) for the 97-inch model. The C6 is priced from 1 897 200 won (1 257 US dollars) for the 48-inch model to 6 190 000 won (4 107 US dollars) for the 77-inch model. B6 models cost 3 290 000 won (2 180 US dollars) for the 65-inch model, 5 690 000 won (3 770 US dollars) for the 77-inch, and 7 900 000 won (5 234 US dollars) for the 83-inch.
LG will begin sales in South Korea from 25 March, followed by a global launch.
