Sales of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G have begun in Russia. The handset comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display, offering a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1900 nits. Its body measures 6.9 mm thick and the phone weighs 179 g.

Performance and AI features on the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G

Powering the smartphone is the Exynos 1680 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process. Samsung reports a noticeable performance uplift compared with the previous model, alongside improved cooling thanks to a larger vapour chamber. The device also supports AI features, including Circle to Search and tools for quicker interaction with content, designed to make everyday tasks easier.

Cameras and Nightography

The main camera is a 50 MP unit with optical image stabilisation, paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide module. The camera system also includes the Nightography night mode.

Battery, durability and security

A 5000 mAh battery with 45 W charging is said to reach 65% in half an hour. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, and the smartphone is rated to IP68 for protection. Security is handled by the Knox Vault platform.
