Apple launches AppleCare One subscription service in France

Apple is bringing its subscription service to France.

A year ago, Apple introduced AppleCare One, a subscription scheme designed to cover three devices linked to an Apple account instead of taking out individual AppleCare Plus plans. Previously available only to customers in the United States, the offer will launch in France on 4 August 2026.

AppleCare One cover for three Apple devices

As 01Net explains, AppleCare One extends the various benefits included with AppleCare Plus across three devices. This means unlimited, fast repairs for accidental damage, a battery replacement once it has worn out, and priority support from the Cupertino company's specialists.

A few AppleCare One conditions to note

Repairs will still be carried out using genuine Apple parts, either in Apple Stores or by the brand's authorised service providers. Another key point is that the technology giant is extending its loss and theft cover to the Apple Watch and iPad, as it already does for iPhones. The list of eligible products also includes Mac, AirPods, Apple TV, HomePod and Apple Vision Pro.

The major question remains: how much will the service cost? Cover for three products is priced at €21 per month. Each additional device then costs €6 per month. Apple says the arrangement can deliver substantial savings of up to €13.48 per month compared with taking out AppleCare Plus plans with theft and loss cover for every individual device.

Eligibility and repair excess charges

There is another requirement to bear in mind: products must have been owned for less than four years, or one year in the case of earphones, and must be in good condition. An excess also applies: €29 for each screen repair or damage to the glass back, €99 for other accidental damage, and €129 for theft or loss.
