Russian retailers have begun selling Xiaomi’s latest smartphones, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, which the company unveiled internationally yesterday. This was confirmed by diHouse’s press office (a major supplier of home appliances and consumer electronics) as well as the Russian AliExpress team.

Sales launch and pricing in Russia

According to diHouse, Russian customers can buy the Poco X8 Pro from 35,000 roubles and the Poco X8 Pro Max from 45,000 roubles. Meanwhile, AliExpress distributors are listing the phones from 22,000 roubles and 31,000 roubles respectively when all discounts are applied.

Poco X8 Pro: key specifications

The Poco X8 Pro is a performance-focused handset built around the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra. It comes in configurations with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of internal storage.

On the front is a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2756 × 1268 pixels.

For photography, the main camera uses a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical stabilisation, paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The selfie camera is 20 MP. Power comes from a 6500 mAh battery, with support for 100 W fast charging and 27 W reverse charging. The device also offers dust and water protection rated to IP68.

Poco X8 Pro Max: key specifications

The Poco X8 Pro Max is the top model in the Poco X8 smartphone range. It is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s.

It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen running at 120 Hz, with peak brightness reaching 3500 cd/m².

The rear camera system includes a 50 MP main camera built on the Light Fusion 600 sensor, plus an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. Selfies are handled by a 20 MP front-facing camera. The 8500 mAh battery supports 100 W charging and 27 W reverse wired charging. Like the Pro, the handset is protected against dust and water to the IP68 standard.
