Almost 3 years after it was announced, GTA 6 is finally up for pre-order on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and is set to land in 5 months’ time, on 19 November 2026. This afternoon, Rockstar Games shared full details of the game’s two editions. Here’s our pre-order guide to help you pick the right version at the best price.
Pre-order bonuses
With any pre-order of GTA 6 (physical or digital, Standard or Ultimate), Rockstar Games is offering several pre-order bonuses via the Vintage Vice City pack. This pack unlocks in-game extras, including:
- A 1955 Vapid Stanier (car)
- Outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia
- Weapon skins inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s palm-shirt
The GTA 6 Standard Edition
If you’re not bothered about extra digital in-game add-ons and simply want the essentials, Rockstar Games will be selling a Standard version of GTA 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in both physical and digital formats. This Standard Edition will cost 79,99 euros.
Note: For the physical version, Rockstar will include download code only in the box; there will be no Blu-ray included with this edition.
Pre-downloads for both the physical and digital versions will begin on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S from 12 November 2026. That means you can receive your physical copy from that date, redeem your code, and pre-load the game so you’re ready to play from the first minute on 19 November.
The GTA 6 Standard Edition includes:
- The full GTA 6 game
- The Vintage Vice City pack (pre-order bonus)
No version of GTA Online appears to be included with these GTA 6 editions. No early access is offered either.

Pre-order the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition
The second GTA 6 option is the Ultimate Edition. This is the best version currently offered by Rockstar Games. It is digital-only on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a price of 99,99 euros.
IMPORTANT POINT: You can get this version of the game by pre-ordering a physical Standard Edition and then buying the upgrade on the PlayStation Store / Xbox Store.

Upgrade to the Ultimate Edition at any time
If you pre-order the GTA 6 Standard Edition (physical or digital), Rockstar Games will let you move to the Ultimate Edition whenever you like (even after the game launches). All you need to do is purchase the Ultimate upgrade on the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store.
