Prime Day Amazon deal on iPhone Air (256 GB, Light Gold)

For the first time, Amazon has dropped the iPhone Air to €845 instead of €1,229 in the 256 GB configuration (Light Gold). That’s a hefty €384 saving (31%). The promotion is part of Prime Day, running until 23:59 on 26 June.

You shouldn’t hang about. Even though this Prime offer is scheduled to last until tomorrow evening at 23:59, there’s a strong chance the stock will be gone before then. This bargain is available exclusively to Prime members.

On this handset, the retailer is also offering fast, free delivery, a free 30-day return window, the option to pay in 4 instalments at no extra cost, and a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The thinnest iPhone

The iPhone Air is one of Apple’s newest smartphones - and one of the strongest options in the line-up. This premium model stands out for its ultra-slim 5.6 mm body, making it the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever produced. Despite that, durability is still a highlight thanks to a titanium frame, an IP68 rating, and Ceramic Shield protective glass on both the front and the back.

Performance and display on iPhone Air

Inside, it packs Apple’s latest top-end chip, the A19 Pro, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage on this version. With specs like these, it runs apps and games smoothly, without stuttering. It’s also consistently snappy for browsing and multitasking. Naturally, this latest-generation smartphone supports Apple Intelligence features.

On the front, the iPhone Air comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display delivering a 2,736 x 1,260-pixel resolution, an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, and peak brightness up to 3,000 nits. In everyday use, that translates into a genuinely high-quality viewing experience.

Battery life, connectivity, and cameras

For battery life, it can reach up to 27 hours of video playback. It supports wired charging and MagSafe up to 20 W, which is enough to regain around 50% charge in roughly 30 minutes. Connectivity is comprehensive too, with Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, 5G and NFC.

As for photography, it’s less versatile than the iPhone 17 range, but it still produces very pleasing shots. On the back, it features a Fusion camera that combines a 48 MP wide-angle lens with a 12 MP x2 telephoto, plus an 18 MP front camera with Centre Stage for automatic framing. It can also record video up to 4K Dolby Vision at 60 FPS.
