The DJI Neo 2 at a heavily reduced price is available here:

You will need to be quick, as the offer ends this Tuesday at midnight sharp. Either way, if it does not meet your expectations, you have 15 days to return it and receive a full refund shortly afterwards.

Delivery is fast and free, dispatched from France, with VAT included. The two-year manufacturer’s warranty is included as well, and you can also pay in 4 interest-free instalments via PayPal-around €47 today, and the same amount for the next three months.

The perfect drone to start with

The DJI Neo 2 is particularly well suited to beginners. To begin with, it does not require any training or a permit to fly. That is because it weighs just 151 grams, placing it in the under-250-gram category. In practical terms, you simply take it out of your bag, launch it, and you are ready to go. One of its strongest points is flight safety, which is exactly what makes it reassuring for new pilots.

It features 360-degree obstacle detection, supported by a front-facing LiDAR, so it can spot and avoid obstacles without you having to step in. No more first-flight mishaps where a drone ends up stuck in a tree branch. It can also return to its take-off point on its own, and it will even follow you in flight thanks to ActiveTrack. Add SelfieShot, QuickShots or Dolly Zoom modes, and you have plenty of creative options to capture the shots you want. For imaging, the Neo 2 uses a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor with 12 Mpx, recording in 4K at 60 fps.

Camera formats and stabilisation on the DJI Neo 2

If you are after smooth slow-motion with a more cinematic feel, it can reach 100 fps in 4K. For posting straight to social platforms, it can shoot in vertical format at 2.7K. A two-axis mechanical gimbal, backed up by RockSteady electronic stabilisation, keeps footage steady even when conditions are bumpy.

In the air, it reaches speeds of up to 12 m/s, handles gusts up to 10.7 m/s, and can fly at altitudes of up to 2,000 metres.

Control, range and storage

Battery life goes up to 19 minutes in good conditions. For control, a simple Wi‑Fi pairing with your smartphone lets you command it using gestures, with a range of 500 metres. If you need more distance, the optional transmission module extends the range to 6 km.

The drone includes 49 GB of internal storage. Note that it does not support a microSD card, so it is best to transfer your videos regularly-especially as 4K files fill up the space quickly. Overall, it is hard to find a setup that is simpler or more confidence-inspiring for getting started and bringing back great aerial footage.
