Líder Aviação, the largest executive aviation company in Latin America, has launched a new retrofit project to install the Garmin G5000 avionics suite in a Beechjet 400A aircraft. The programme underlines the company’s know-how in technology modernisation and its capability to deliver highly complex aeronautical engineering services.

Garmin G5000 upgrade for the Beechjet 400A

The Garmin G5000 upgrade replaces the Collins Pro Line 4 system with an integrated, contemporary platform aligned with today’s executive aviation standards. This modern suite improves equipment reliability, mitigates the impact of technology obsolescence, streamlines aircraft operation, and supports the asset’s value over time.

Líder Aviação’s experience with Garmin G5000 retrofits

This is the second Garmin G5000 retrofit carried out by Líder Aviação. The company was also responsible for the first installation of this system in Brazil, building technical experience in one of the most significant avionics upgrade projects for this aircraft category.

Retrofit work at the Sorocaba Maintenance Centre

The retrofit will be completed at Líder’s Maintenance Centre in Sorocaba (SP), a facility focused on fixed-wing aircraft and equipped to handle technically demanding work.

Fábio Del Lama, Maintenance Director at Líder Aviação, says: “This second project reinforces the market’s confidence in our team and infrastructure. The experience from the first Garmin G5000 retrofit enables us to operate even more efficiently, delivering customers modern solutions aligned with the best practices of the aeronautical industry.”
