From $36,000
TCL Max163M and Max163M Pro pricing in China
TCL has launched its ultra-premium Max163M and Max163M Pro televisions in China. Both sets feature a 163-inch screen, with prices set at $36,000 for the Max163M and $50,000 for the Max163M Pro.
Micro LED 4K panel and HDR brightness
Each model uses a Micro LED panel built from more than 24.8 million self-emissive LEDs and delivers native 4K resolution. Peak brightness is rated at 10,000 nits, enabling strong HDR performance with deep blacks and accurate detail in bright highlights.
Pro refresh rates, calibration and hardware platform
The Pro version adds 4K at 120 Hz, MEMC, and a pixel-level refresh rate of up to 3840 Hz. The panels are based on inorganic GaN and GaP materials, with a stated lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. TCL also describes precise calibration across the entire screen area, including multi-layer gamma correction, grey segmentation, and per-pixel adjustment.
Image processing is handled by a proprietary 12 nm chip that applies AI algorithms to optimise the picture in real time. The TVs include Cortex-A73 CPU cores, Mali-G57 graphics, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, along with HDMI 2.1 and USB ports. They run the ad-free Lingkong UI 3.0 system and support multichannel audio, with the option to connect 7.1.4 speaker setups rated at up to 860 W.
