Set among the Styrian hills, the Red Bull Ring hosts the Austrian GP on Sunday 28 June at 15:00. Here is how to follow every moment of the race.
Short, undulating and lined with fir trees, Spielberg’s circuit is one of the paddock’s favourites: laps take little more than a minute, there are three DRS zones and overtaking opportunities aplenty. Better still, the 15:00 start is also at 15:00 in France, so there is no time difference to factor in.

Canal+ shows F1 in France, while RTBF and RTS broadcast it free
In France, Canal+ continues to hold Formula 1 rights, showing the complete Spielberg weekend - practice, qualifying and the race - with its own presentation and French commentary. Across the border, the picture is different: RTBF in Belgium and RTS in French-speaking Switzerland air every Grand Prix free of charge in French, while ServusTV carries the Austrian Grand Prix live in its home country this season.
These broadcasts are limited to their respective territories, which is why a VPN is useful for accessing them legally from France. Of the services we monitor, NordVPN proved the most dependable for this type of stream.
How to watch the Austrian GP live for free
There are just three steps to follow. Install the app, connect to a server in Belgium, then open RTBF Auvio through a browser or its app. In our test, the Belgian server connected in under ten seconds, and the live stream played in smooth 1080p from the beginning to the end of the session. The platform requires free registration, but no paid subscription. For German-language commentary from Austria, simply switch to an Austrian server and open ServusTV.
