It launches in April

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is set to come with a thoroughly modern set of camera modules.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra camera modules: sensors and zoom

The main camera uses a 200 MP sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, designed to deliver strong detail and perform confidently in low light. For portraits and close-up shots, there is a telescopic lens built around a 200 MP sensor offering 3× magnification, alongside a 136% increase in light intake compared with its predecessor. A 50 MP periscope module adds 10× optical zoom, making it possible to pick out even very distant subjects.

Wide-angle upgrade and optical stabilisation

Ultra-wide photography has also been improved: a 50 MP sensor with a 1/2-inch sensor size broadens framing options and helps sharpen edges. Oppo also states that it supports high-quality optical image stabilisation.

Native focal lengths and ISZ (In-Sensor Zoom)

The camera system has native focal lengths of 14 mm, 23 mm, 70 mm and 230 mm. The main camera supports high-quality ISZ* zoom with a 46 mm equivalent, while the telephoto module supports high-quality ISZ with a 139 mm equivalent.

* ISZ (In-Sensor Zoom) is a “sensor zoom” technology - a crop without loss of quality. In smartphones, it enables extra focal lengths with image quality that is close to optical.
