JettwareNG cloud platform to manage GOL’s ULD fleet

GOL has confirmed it will implement JettwareNG, Jettainer’s cloud-based platform, to manage its fleet of unit load devices (ULDs), including containers and unitised pallets. The move is designed to improve visibility of these assets, helping to cut losses and make better use of the equipment.

Abra Group ULD management with Jettainer

Jettainer, a Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary, already oversees ULD management for all airlines within the Abra Group, which includes Avianca, GOL and Wamos Air. The company says the arrangement will create group-wide synergies, streamline day-to-day operations and optimise costs across the Abra portfolio.

Patricia Bello, Managing Director at GOLLOG, said: “The collaboration with Jettainer represents an important step forward for our intercontinental operations, ensuring safe and efficient cargo transport on our widebody aircraft. Jettainer’s expertise and innovative solutions are essential for connecting people, opportunities and businesses globally.”

ULD efficiency to support Airbus A330-900 growth

The agreement comes as GOL invests in five Airbus A330-900 aircraft, strengthening its footprint in the intercontinental market. Efficient ULD management will be key to maximising cargo capacity on these services.

Shailendra Kothari, Managing Director of Jettainer Americas Inc., added: “We are pleased to support GOL’s ambitious expansion with our ULD management solutions. Welcoming a dynamic airline that serves more than 30 million passengers annually and operates around 700 flights daily is a significant step in strengthening our presence in South America and creating more value for all Abra Group airlines.”
