From 17 to 26 August at 23:59, AliExpress is running its Back to School event, with sizeable reductions on a wide selection of tech products. As part of the promotion, the retailer has reduced the DJI Neo 2 from €239 to €160 when you use the DSFR20 or PCFR20 code.

A mini drone with plenty under the “bonnet”

Weighing just 151 g, the DJI Neo 2 is a compact drone. As a result, you do not need certification to fly it, making it an ideal option for beginners. It also includes several useful features designed to make it easier to use: automatic obstacle avoidance in flight, automatic return to its starting point, and precise automatic subject tracking while airborne.

Its SelfieShot, QuickShots and Dolly Zoom modes also make it possible to create original footage effortlessly. A 12 MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor, two-axis mechanical stabilisation and RockSteady electronic stabilisation enable it to record high-quality, perfectly smooth video in up to 4K at 60 FPS.

When flown using your smartphone over Wi-Fi, it has a range of 500 metres. You can also pair it with a remote controller, not supplied, to extend the range to up to 6 km.
