Russian retailers have opened pre-orders for the new Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 (review), which was unveiled for international markets in late February 2026.

MTS’s press office has confirmed the start of pre-orders. The smartwatch is available with a gradient strap in dark orange, dark blue, and black. During the pre-order window running from 7 to 16 April, buyers will receive a 2 thousand rouble discount. With the discount applied, MTS is listing the watch at 30 thousand roubles.

Design, dimensions and positioning accuracy

The watch comes in a titanium case, and the display is protected by Kunlun Glass. The 43.5 mm device weighs 34.5 g. Its thickness is 10.7 mm - 11% less than the previous generation. Huawei also promises improved geolocation accuracy (by 250%) compared with its predecessor.

Specifications and features

Key specs include a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, an ECG sensor, and water resistance (5 ATM, IP69). Battery life under “minimal use” is rated at 14 days. Contactless payments (NFC) are also supported.

Intelligent “Marathon” mode

The watch includes an intelligent “Marathon” mode featuring a list of road races labelled by World Athletics. This mode assesses running efficiency and offers comprehensive race guidance from start to finish. Users can also calculate predicted finish times and training intensity.
