Samsung Galaxy A57 launch price in Europe

Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A57 just a few hours ago, but did not reveal the price at the time. The figure is now confirmed: in Europe, the Galaxy A57 starts at €530.

Galaxy S-style smooth camera switching comes to the A-series

According to Sammobile, Samsung has brought to the Galaxy A57 a feature that, until now, was mainly associated with the more expensive Galaxy S models. The new handset is the first in the A-series to offer seamless camera switching without blur when changing zoom.

This concerns the transition inside the camera app between the 1x main camera and the 0.6x ultra-wide camera. On earlier mid-range models, this switch often came with a noticeable delay and a brief moment of image blur; with the Galaxy A57, Samsung has removed that issue.

Building on earlier Galaxy A56 camera speed improvements

Samsung had already been moving in this direction. For instance, the Galaxy A56 made shooting and lens changes faster: shutter response time dropped to around 240 ms, while lens switching time was reduced from 980 to 430 ms. With the Galaxy A57, the focus shifts towards a smoother-looking camera experience.
