Xiaomi 17 Ultra: a smartphone for demanding users
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the Chinese manufacturer’s latest ultra-premium smartphone. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, alongside 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, it delivers exceptional smoothness in every situation. Its integrated cooling system prevents excessive heat build-up, helping it sustain maximum performance over time.
With the HyperOS 3 interface, the handset offers an intuitive user experience and several AI tools, including intelligent search, instant translation and native Gemini access. It also features a large 6,000 mAh battery, providing more than a day of battery life. Thanks to 90 W fast-charging compatibility, the smartphone can be fully charged in 40 minutes. It also supports 50 W wireless charging.
Premium design and a high-quality display
This model also has an elegant, hard-wearing design that matches its premium status. The smartphone combines an aluminium-alloy frame, a fibreglass back and Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0, which effectively protects the display against scratches and impacts. It is also IP68 certified.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra further delivers excellent image quality through its 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. Certified for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, it offers a 2,608 × 1,200-pixel resolution, an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz, and peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
Leica cameras and modern connectivity
The handset also benefits from an excellent camera setup, allowing it to capture high-quality photographs in all conditions and record video in up to 4K Dolby Vision at 120 FPS. This is made possible by a trio of Leica rear sensors: a 200 MP 5x telephoto lens, plus 50 MP wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras, along with a 50 MP front camera.
Lastly, the smartphone supports the latest connectivity standards, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and 5G. In short, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has everything needed to appeal to the most demanding users. The current reduction makes it considerably more affordable. However, if you want to take advantage of it, it is best not to wait too long, as the offer may not remain available for long.
