This promotion is part of the Customs Savings, or Back to School, event, which runs until tomorrow evening at 23:59. At this price, however, stock may not last that long, so it is worth acting quickly.

The retailer also offers free, fast delivery, free 90-day returns with a full refund if you are dissatisfied, a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, and the option to pay in four interest-free instalments through PayPal (four payments of around €16 over four months).

Magcubic HY350 Max projector: key features

The Magcubic HY350 Max lets you make the most of films, programmes and video content with a maximum projected image of 130 inches, or roughly 3 metres diagonally. As well as delivering a cinema-style experience, it offers Full HD 1080p resolution and can even decode 8K content.

Simply place it around 1.68 metres from the wall, which is the ideal projection distance for this projector, then use its zoom to set the image size to suit your preferences. No further adjustments are required: its autofocus and keystone-correction features ensure the picture is properly aligned.

Even if the viewing room is not completely dark, the projector’s 600 ANSI lumens provide good visibility - rather than the 900 stated on the product listing. Its LED lamp also has an estimated lifespan of around 30,000 hours.

Sound, connections and Android 14

This model has two 15 W stereo speakers that deliver pleasing sound quality. You can further improve the audio by connecting a soundbar or external speakers. For this, the device provides comprehensive connectivity, including an HDMI port, a USB port, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6 support.

The Magcubic HY350 Max also runs on Android 14, with a smooth, intuitive interface that gives access to a wide range of apps and services, much like a smart TV. It is, however, far less obtrusive than a television and easy to transport, weighing only around 3 kg.

In short, if you are shopping on a limited budget, this projector is an ideal alternative to a TV. Still, do not wait too long: with such a substantial discount, stock could disappear at any moment.
