PhoneBuff battery test: Oppo Find N6 vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold

No surprises

Oppo has only just unveiled its foldable smartphone, the Find N6, boasting the least noticeable crease yet, and the PhoneBuff channel has already published a head-to-head comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The devices were measured on battery life.

To recap, in that same order, the phones come with 6000 mAh, 4400 mAh and 5015 mAh batteries. Their displays are almost the same size, but the underlying platforms are completely different.

It is also worth noting that PhoneBuff’s testing method for foldables involves mixed use of both the main (inner) display and the outer screen.

Battery life and charging results

In this match-up, the outcome was exactly what you would expect: the bigger the battery, the longer the handset lasted. Samsung’s flagship bowed out at 9 hours 52 minutes, Google’s handset ran for 10 hours 40 minutes, and Oppo’s newcomer delivered 11 hours 46 minutes.

As for charging, after 30 minutes the smartphones had topped up by roughly the same amount: 51%, 49% and 55%, again in the order listed above.
