AliExpress’s Customs Savings event runs until 23:59 on 26 August. As part of the promotion, the e-commerce retailer is offering strong discounts on a range of tech products, including the Meta Quest 3, available for €481 rather than €619 with the DSFR70 or PCFR70 code. It is worth acting quickly, as stock may not last long.

The timing of this discount is particularly appealing, as the Meta Quest 3 recently rose in price by €70, from €549 to €619. The offer therefore saves €138 on the mixed-reality headset compared with its new price, and €68 against its original price.
Amazon also provides free, fast delivery, free 90-day returns with a full refund, the option to pay in four interest-free instalments through PayPal (four payments of around €120 over four months), and a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Meta Quest 3: the benchmark for VR
The Meta Quest 3 delivers a high-quality VR/AR experience. Its display setup comprises two 4K+ screens, each offering a resolution of 2,208 x 2,064 pixels per eye, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 110° horizontal and 96° vertical field of view.
Alongside its immersive visuals, this mixed-reality headset features a capable audio system with 3D spatial sound to further enhance realism. You can therefore enjoy VR games in excellent conditions, either with the included Touch Plus controllers or with your hands, as the headset supports gesture recognition.
AR features for entertainment and everyday tasks
Beyond VR (virtual reality), the Meta Quest 3 also uses AR (augmented reality) to let you project films onto a wall, work productively by moving easily between tasks, exercise in a more entertaining way, listen to music, browse the internet, view your photos, and more.
The headset includes a generous 512 GB of storage, giving you room to install plenty of games and applications. It has also been designed for comfortable wear: its weight is distributed evenly across your head, helping to prevent discomfort even during extended sessions.
Wireless Meta Quest 3 battery life and independence
This wireless headset provides up to two hours of battery life and operates entirely independently. In other words, unlike headsets such as PS VR, which must be connected to a PS5 or PC to work, it does not need to be linked to another device.
In any case, it is a leading headset in its category, and it is currently available at a considerably more attractive price. However, it is best not to wait too long, as stocks are unlikely to remain available for long with such a substantial discount.
